Meet the Team

Meet Danielle, Founder & Lead Instructor…

Danielle Schill started teaching line dancing in the Spring of 2005 at Ned Devine’s in Sterling, VA (now closed). She started coming on her own and became a regular. When an opening came up to co-instruct, she was offered the opportunity and jumped on it! Months later, her fellow instructor hung up his boots to pursue other opportunities and she continued on.  From then on, she has expanded to many new venues, created LineDance4You, LLC and brought line dancing to more places in the DC Metro Area!

Danielle is also a choreographer of more than 2 dozen line dances.  Check out her work here.

Danielle is happily married to Tod with two beautiful little girls, Madison & Taylor, her two dogs, Daisy & Pickles and their bunny, Maple.

Danielle is the primary face of Tuesday nights at The Loudoun Kitchen & Bar.

Meet Jacqueline, Senior Instructor

Jacqueline joined the LineDance4You team in April 2022. A native of Poolsville, MD and a horse lover, she and her parents started line dancing with us in 2021 and found like so many that it was a great place for all ages to have fun and bond over a shared hobby. Her skill on the floor was apparent, but even more was her shining personality and eagerness to help everyone else on the floor. Her “old soul” and positive spark made her a natural in this role. We know all of our dancers will love her!

Jacqueline is the primary face of Monday night Intermediate classes at The Loudoun Kitchen & Bar.

Meet Mike, the Mic, Senior Instructor

Mike joined the LineDance4You team in June 2023. He started dancing with LD4Y in Dec 2022 and loved the music and the people and became so well known for helping others on the floor that he was coined the “BRAT” (Back Row Assistant Teacher) until he ultimately was pulled up to be a full blown instructor.

Mike, however, started line dancing back in the 90s with some of the “classics”. he went to college and got a degree in Biology, but continued dancing and even got a dance minor from all the dance classes. He continued dancing for fun and would do a lot of East Coast swing.

“Dancing is in my blood I suppose. My grandmother was a part time dance partner to Arthur Murray (yes the one that has a Fox Trot named after him). My mother is a past president of the DC Hand Dance Club. It’s been fun learning some of the popular dances and I love helping others learn how much fun line dance can be!”

Mike is the primary face of Wednesday nights at Backseat Events and Thursday nights at Bluemont Station Winery & Brewery.

Meet Wendy, Instructor

Wendy joined the LineDance4You team officially in October 2024. Wendy started dancing with LD4Y in 2022 with her husband and fellow dancer Bryan. After the 2020 lock downs they were both excited to find such a warm, friendly and diverse group of people at LK&B.

Wendy grew up dancing and attended university on a dance scholarship. After years of focusing on family, career and other interests, LineDance4You brought the inner dancer back out with a vengeance! She loves helping others and inspiring them to be confident dancers, regardless of their skill level.

Wendy is a great addition to the team and currently leads classes when needed. You can also find her on the dance floor helping out fellow dancers and spreading the joy!

Wendy alternates as the face of Saturday nights at The Loudoun Kitchen & Bar.

Meet Stephanie, Admin & Content Queen

Stephanie, or Steph as most people call her, joined the LineDance4You team in May 2024. She started dancing with LD4Y in August 2022 and loved the dances and sense of community that kept her coming back every week. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Graphic Design and a love for social media as a way to bring people together. Because of her talents she joined the team as an Administrator. She is Danielle’s right hand woman and is magical behind the scenes.

“I first experienced line dancing while visiting my best friend in Roanoke and had a blast! After I graduated college, I wanted to find a place to dance in NoVA and found LineDance4You. I’ve been having the time of my life since then and met an amazing group of people I am proud to call my friends.”

Steph is the face behind the camera out on the dance floor, so if you see her be sure to give her your biggest smile! She is also in charge of communications and is here to help answer your questions and requests!

Meet Caiti, Instructor

Caiti is our newest line dance instructor on the team. She has been line dancing now for 9 years starting with Nick’s Country Night Club in July 2016. She found LD4Y originally at our Uptown Alley location in April 2018 and then followed to our Eclipse location in March 2019. She continued dancing with us once she found our dance floor at Loudoun Kitchen and Bar in April 2022.

Caiti has taught line dance lessons at Ajax Dance Studio since Aug 2024 and has since then taught many private events and local festivals. Although she is just starting with our team, Caiti has been teaching elementary music and dance since 2016 in PWCS and a dance fitness instructor for Jazzercise since 2018.

Whether she is instructing at school, dancing at the bar, leading fitness, or working at the dance studio…Caiti is always moving and grooving! Her favorite song is “Better When I’m Dancing” because that’s when Caiti feels most alive!

Caiti is the primary face of Saturday nights at L&B Pizzeria & Sports Bar!

Meet Bethany, Instructor

She’s back, baby! Bethany was the very first instructor hired onto the LineDance4You team back when Danielle was pregnant with her oldest daughter. Now, 12 years later, Bethany has returned to the dance floor with as much spunk and excitement for teaching and is ready to hit the stage again and show you just how much fun line dancing can be!

When Bethany isn’t dancing, she’s pouring wines (and during October, giving spooky wine tours) at Bull Run Winery and helping kids as a Special Education Teacher for Blind and Visually impaired students at FCPS.

Bethany will be alternating in on Saturdays at The Loudoun Kitchen & Bar with Wendy starting in November 2025 as well as subbing at L&B Pizzeria and other classes and will be adding more regular classes as the year continues. Stay tuned for more!

DJ Freedom

DJ Freedom Ortiz has been our in house DJ for our Loudoun Kitchen & Bar classes since 2012. DJ MiniMe

DJ MiniMe has been a staple in the DC area country scene since the days of Blackies. With a big personality and a love for dancing, he can be seen behind the DJ booth as well as on the dance floor. He touts high end equipment for large scale events and loves to razz the instructors keeping them on their toes and everyone laughing! Don’t forget to stop by his booth for his signature Blow Pops too!
